Yes — completely free right now. NilPilot is in pre-launch. All features are fully unlocked for founding members.

When we launch paid plans, the first 500 founding members keep 3 months free (no credit card, no catch). Your referral code earns you +14 days free per friend who joins, up to 6 months total.

Standard pricing at launch will be $49/month. Founding members pay significantly less with their earned free time.

The valuation engine combines four data categories:

• Social reach — weighted follower counts across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube (each platform has different rate multipliers)
• Engagement rate — high engagement multiplies your effective audience
• Sport & Division — D1 football has different market rates than D3 golf (we track 50+ sports)
• State & achievements — market demand by geography, All-American status, championships, Olympic participation

The output includes per-post rates, story rates, TikTok rates, appearance fees, endorsement ranges, and an annual earnings estimate broken by tier.

The biggest levers (in order of impact):

Yes. Every time you click Save Valuation, it's stored in your history with the exact inputs used. You can view the last 12 valuations to track your NIL trajectory over time.

The Valuation tab shows your latest saved valuation at the top, with a history graph below. Run a new one whenever your follower counts or stats change.

All NCAA sports plus Adaptive/Paralympic athletes. The engine supports 50+ sport categories including:

Each sport has different rate multipliers based on real NIL market data. D1 sports in high-revenue programs have the highest multipliers.

No. These are data-driven market estimates based on aggregated NIL deal data and social media benchmarks. They are not guaranteed rates and should be used as a negotiation reference point, not a contract floor.

Think of it like a Zillow estimate for your house — useful context, not the actual sale price. Your real negotiated rate depends on the brand, campaign scope, exclusivity, and timing.

Always consult your institution's NIL compliance office before signing any deal.

NilPilot supports all common NIL deal types:

Yes. Create a brand once in your Brand directory (NilPilot saves it), then create as many individual deals linked to that brand as you need. Each deal has its own stage, value, timeline, and activity log.

The Deals summary card shows your total pipeline value and closed revenue by brand — so you can see at a glance which partnerships are most valuable.

Yes — completely private. Your deal pipeline is visible only to you. NilPilot does not share, sell, or use your deal data for any purpose other than showing it to you.

Individual deal details (brand names, values, notes) are never included in aggregate benchmarks or shown to other users.

Your NilPilot media kit includes:

• Athlete photo, name, sport, school
• Combined social reach summary (all platforms)
• Platform-by-platform follower counts + engagement rate
• NIL valuation range (social post, story, TikTok, appearance, endorsement)
• Achievements and highlights
• Bio / brand statement
• Contact info (only what you choose to share)

No. Your media kit is private by default. Only people you explicitly share the link with can view it.

Public athlete profiles are off by default. You control whether your profile appears in any public directory (toggle in Profile settings → Public Profile).

Currently free — NilPilot is in pre-launch and all features are unlocked at no cost.

When paid plans launch:

• Founding Member (first 500 athletes): 3 months free, then a heavily discounted rate locked for life

Founding members who referred friends earn up to 6 months free on top of the baseline 3 months.

No. You will not be auto-charged. When paid plans launch, you'll receive advance notice via email and you'll need to explicitly enter payment information to continue. No surprise billing.

No credit card required. Sign up with just your name, email, sport, and password. No payment info needed now or during the free period.

You have the right to a full export of your personal data under GDPR (Art. 20) and CCPA (§ 1798.100).

You can also call the API directly: GET /api/compliance/export-data (authenticated).

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All data — profile, deals, valuations, brands, activities — is deleted immediately.

We recommend downloading your data first if you want a record of your deals and valuations.

NilPilot stores only what you provide:

• Account info: name, email, sport (hashed password — we can never see it)
• Athlete profile: social handles, follower counts, bio, photo
• Valuations: inputs you provide + calculated results
• Deals & brands: everything you manually enter
• Usage events: which pages/features you use (anonymous usage patterns for product improvement)

We do not connect to your social accounts, scrape your data, or access anything you haven't explicitly entered. Read our full Privacy Policy.
